Enjoy the Beautiful garden located next to the historial Hull House builted around 1810 and is the oldest, federal-style stone residence in Erie County. It is said the the Hull House may have been used as a refuge for citizens fleeing from the British. THe hull House garden has been created entirely by volunteers, and contains a wide variety of annual and perennial plants.   When you visit the garden, you can not help but notice the 2 historic sculptures, carved by chairsaw artists, completed in conjunction with the local "Carvings for a Cause" organization.  The sculptures portray National Weather Service founder General Albert Myer and Buffalo Mayor Ebenezer Walden. THe garden, in many ways, demonstrates how we as a nation, and as a people, can overcome adversity. It is a beautiful place to enjoy the beautiful of Peace.   For more information and list of nearby attractions, check out our digitial map at the following link http://digital.turn-page.com/issue/47855 More »
